About
Havana Central New Years Eve on December 31 (PAST EVENT)
New York City’s Times Square is home to the very best of Cuban cuisine, Havana Central. Jeremy Merrin, a Latin/Cuban foodie and enthusiast, came up with the idea of Havana after noticing the rising popularity of local Cuban restaurants in the 2000’s era and wanting to start his own. Opening Havana in 2002, the restaurant’s goal was to offer large portions of authentic Cuban cuisine at reasonable mass-friendly prices. And ever since the day it opened its doors, Havana Central has done just that!
With a distinctly authentic Cuban ambiance, the dining experience is as close to visiting the island of Cuba as you could get without leaving New York City. Havana’s food, music and servers all embody the culture of Cuba and its traditions, making it conducive to children and adults of all ages. The feel of Havana’s Times Square location is comfortable, cozy and welcoming, with colorful Cuban-esque carpeting, long booths and tall plants as décor. The dining experience is one authentically Latin that you will not forget any time soon.
If you are in search of a Latin-infused New Year’s Eve this year, you have come to the right place! Havana Central will be opening its doors to celebrate New Year’s 2016 Cuban-style with festivities, food, and fun! A ticket to this Latin fiesta is a hot item… literally! With your ticket, you will delight tin five hours of open bar with tons of wines, beers and spirits to choose from throughout the evening. No need to choose a drink for the night – have them all! On top of drinks, Latin hors-derves will be passed for your dining pleasure throughout the festive evening. Grab a drink and a bite and repeat!
As the clock gets closer to midnight, get excited, as the epic Times Square ball drop is about to take place just blocks away outside! You get the best of urban New York City and island-infused Cuba all packed into one night. And of course, ring in the new year with a champagne toast included in your ticket at midnight!
